My name is Suzanne Mason and I have served as counselor at Lockard for thirteen years. As a counselor, I work a long side of the Lockard faculty to support our students by providing a positive, safe environment where every child will meet or exceed grade level standards by the end of each school year. Positive Character Traits
This month the Lockard family will emphasize good manners. We will be looking for students who are showing good manners throughout the day and rewarding them with a ticket to use at the end of the week at the Sweet Mobile.
Happy New Year! Along with the new nine weeks comes winter weather and cold and flu season. Attending school is so important to student success at all grade levels. Please encourage your family to follow these simple tips from WebMD to help avoid the cold and flu:
Wash hands as often as possible
Use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available
Avoid getting close to people who are sick if possible
Keep up a healthy lifestyle
Make learning fun for the entire family!
While in the car have someone pick a letter and everyone must think of a word that begins with that letter. Continue this until everyone has had a chance to pick a letter.
